I’m Ready To Shoot Kumawood Movies – Yvonne Okoro

Ghanaian actress of Nigerian and Ghanaian descent Yvonne Okoro has made her intentions to join the Kumawood movie industry known to B Ice on Agyenkwa FM in Kumasi.

The saucy actress during a phone interview disclosed that she used to watch countless Kumawood movies when she was schooling in France years back. Miss Okoro added that she has a lot of respect for the actors on that side of the movie industry and is ready to work with them if a producer calls on her.

After telling her readiness to join her folks in the Kumawood movie industry, the alumna of the University of Ghana listed certain conditions she would consider before jumping on any set to shoot a movie in the local dialect. The 32-year-old mentioned that “if I’m called and the timing and money is very good, why not? We are all in the movie industry. I’m supposed to act but not to say this is a classy movie and that is not.”
Yvonne Okoro joins Joselyn Dumas and few other glamour actors who have shown interest in shooting Kumawood movies.
